As a newly appointed editor of this blog (I just knew 30 mins ago!), I am quick to act and write. I just love previleges! Muhahahaaa.
It is true that when one realizes, or remembers, that he is a mere invisible dot in this ever expanding existence, that he or she will drop ill and kinda have a mini-depression. I have come to peace with the fact that this is pure human nature. A given blessing, if you act correctly upon it.
As for thinking about humanity, one should kinda stop watching the news at some level and stop linking them to what's right or not. Every age (stone, iron, silicon, etc.) will have its fallacies. It is just a lifetime merit to be satisfied with yourself, and to do whatever it takes for this!
The soul and the energy given to you and I should entice us to pick our selves up from such 'system down' periods and lead us to struggle back at it. If this doesn't sound easy, then it's because it never was.
I'll tell ya one thing. If you want to feel balanced between your felt 'insignificance,' then go read about quantum mechanics' applications (just like you read Stephen Hawking). Quantum dots are things when seen in size are significant to you. And with their eminent advent, will make you feel such a huge, inefficient creature! they are merely 0.000...(26 zeroes)...0001 cube meters and can emit lasers and store data for heaven's sake!
Now I want to put my problem on the table. I feel terrible about how insignificant I am compared to great people, each one in his respective field. I wanna be a leader in something, but I also wanna be good at everything! I am farthest from finding a solution to this currently dominating mindset of mine!
I know I sound a little too subjective. You and I, you and I. But that's what it's all about, right?! Let's start making this blog about life and technology! not insginificance. As a suggestion, check out my late blog's tech section, DesignBot, at: http://hamidaddin.blogspot.com/search/label/Tech
